Synopsis
Several centuries have passed since the end of the former world. The written word has gone up in smoke, and Nature has reclaimed what mankind stole from her. You're a young woman with a thirst for new knowledge. You know nothing of the old world. Your parents passed on to you what they themselves had heard from their ancestors. Your thirst for discovery drives you to search the remains that still overflow among the vegetation, to wander through the ruins to better understand what was there before. Your best friend, equally inquisitive and intrepid, also embarks on this adventure. What will you each find? From place to place, you try to unearth the memories and knowledge of a world that is no more.

The rules
In Boreal, you build a pyramid of cards representing the places you'll be exploring throughout the game. At the end of the game, each card in your pyramid earns you Victory Points. The player with the most Victory Points at the end of the game wins.
