Synopsis
Several centuries have passed since the end of the world as it was. The written word has gone up in smoke, and Nature has reclaimed what mankind stole from it. You're a young woman eager to learn new things. You know nothing of the old world. Your parents passed on to you what they themselves heard from their ancestors. Your thirst for discovery sends you on a quest among the vestiges that peek out through the vegetation, wandering through the ruins to better understand what used to be. Your best friend, equally inquisitive and intrepid, embarks on this adventure too. What will each of you find? Moving from site to site, you try to unearth the memories and knowledge of a world that is no more.

The rules
In Boreal, you build a pyramid of cards representing the Sites you'll be exploring throughout the game. At the end of the game, each card in your pyramid gives you Victory Points. The player with the most Victory Points at the end of the game wins.
